I am the sixth great granddaughter of John Hawkins (Joseph H Hawkins 1763 -> John Hawkins 1788 -> William J Hawkins 1817 -> John Hawkins 1855 -> William Ira Hawkins 1879 -> Mary Ruth Hawkins 1910 -> Norman Williams 1939

Has anyone previously applied to Sons or Daughters of the American Revolution ? I understand it is easier for those that come after once evidence is fact checked.
