I know this forum post is old...... but thank you for posting this! I am not too sure what my granddads bloodtype is, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is RH neg. His late sister was Rh negative.
My granddad has red hair and blue eyes. He is also ambidextrous.
I remember hearing that recessive traits are associated with Rh negative.
Somebody needs a refresher in Mendelian genetics. Recessive traits can stay hidden for generations, until they meet a match - and then out they crop.
Rh negative *is* recessive - Positive is dominant. But they occur in approximately Mendelian proportions (1:3) across the board, with a few "hot spots" where one or the other is more common than average.
By itself the Rh factor proves nothing at all about ancestry.
@ Alison I didn't quite answer your question, but anyway they would be Rh neg too. I remember reading somewhere (It might have been www.rhnegativeregistry.com)............ that Queen Elizabeth, Elizabeth Lyon Bowes, and Prince Charles are all O Rh neg and that Princess Di is AB Rh neg. I am not a 100% sure where this info comes from specifically, but I guess relatives and those descended from royalty know about their own bloodtype. So therefore they must know roughly the bloodtype of those who come from royalty.
A lot of the US presidents, celebrities, ufologist and conspiracy theorists are Rh neg. Even Zecharia Sitchins is Rh neg.
@ Sharon that definitely makes a lot of sense handedness and bloodtype. Originally my granddad was left handed, but in those days they smacked you in school for using your left hand. Also being descended from an alien sounds cool too! Better than being descended from primates lol!
