In general you should NEVER delete duplicate profiles, especially not others, even if they don't bring in anything new.

The reason is simple: Access

If you and I have duplicate profiles, - you and your collaborators have access to edit your profile, and the same with me and my collaborators on my profile.

If we merge these profiles both you, I and a union of our collaborators would have access to the merged profile - independent on if we later on stop collaborating and even block each other.

If we instead delete your profile, none of your collaborators which is not collaborating with me too would have access to the remaining profile and if I stop collaborating with you you would not have access either.

Well it is not a real duplicate. It is listed as the son with the same name as the father only this father did not have a son with the same name so the son with the same name does not exist and so should be deleted. The owner of this profile is Hans Hilmer von Krogh and I will no longer work with him as he has made so many duplicate and false profiles that needed merging or deleting all together which was enough work to fix if he cooperated but he did not and simply refused.

The bottom line is this profile needs to be fixed can you please do it.

Well, it's your problem, but you cut your own access to his profiles as well - I just merged those two profiles.
