About הרב צבי אלעזר Flam נפטר כ' אדר תשל"ד
Tzvi Elozor was a Tzadik Nistar. Despite the suffering in his later years due to his malevolent illness, his love for Hashem and his fellow Jews was as strong as ever.
Never did he bemoan his plight or fate and I always remember when visiting him in the hospital his unquenchable thirst to hear a torah or new pshat. In fact, the entire Torah Tape program has its genesis in the desire to satisfy Tzvi Elozor's thirst for Torah. This was started by Mayer Applebaum.

R’ Tzvi Elozor Flam was born December 23, 1933. He was smart, he was a talented teacher, he had a warm and caring heart, he was full of the joy of life, had a sense of humor and , magnetic personality, making him a beloved student, friend, uncle and Rebbe to so many! Tzvi Luzer as he was fondly known, never got married and therefore has no descendants to perpetuate his memory. He left no children behind, but he did leave us a very rich legacy. A lot of what we are today is to the credit of Fetter Luzer
