About Abraham David Caesar
In 1926 Abraham D. Caesar and Charles Rivise founded the firm. Together they practiced patent, trademark and copyright law and authored a four volume treatise on patent law entitled Interference Law and Practice that has been cited by the courts in hundreds of cases throughout the United States. They also authored a book entitled Patentability and Validity, which for more than thirty years was used as a textbook in law schools teaching patent law. As a result of this heritage, the firm of Caesar Rivise has been a leader in the field of patent, trademark and copyright law (now known as Intellectual Property law) by protecting and promoting the development of creative ideas and the people who create them. Abraham D. Caesar
Abraham D. Caesar (1901-1995) was founder of Caesar, Rivise, Bernstein, Cohen & Pokotilow. He co-authored with his partner, Charles W. Rivise, Interference Law and Practice, which has been cited and relied on by the courts and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in hundreds of reported opinions. He is founder of the South Philadelphia High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
