About Alfred John Wannenburgh, II

GEDCOM Note:
Alfred left Cape Town to work (as a commercial traveler) in Johannesburg at his mother's request to get away from an unsuitable match.

At some time he married a girl, Janetta S. Smuts, from Lydenburg and they had a daughter. The marriage broke up and no one has ever seen his wife or child (none on public record?). He died in Salisbury General Hospital (Rhodesia). His body was sent to Cape Town where he was buried and greatly mourned by his mother, Maria. He was the apple of her eye. His younger brother, Malcolm, likely named his own son 'Alfred John' (III) to honour both his eldest brother and father, respectively.
