Funeral services for Mrs. Martin Rorvig, lifetime resident of Pope County, were held at the Fron Lutheran Church on Friday, May 3 1974 at 11 o'clock A.M. with Rev. Arvin Halvorson and Rev. Donald Oldenberg officiating. Mrs. Rueben Brenden was the organist and accompanied the soloist, Leo Sylvester.

Pallbearers were Larry Berg, Gayle Hohn, Lyn Beiwanger, Jon Rorvig, Dan Hagen & Herbert Overstad.

Mrs. Rovig died at the Minnewaska Hospital on Monday, April 29, suffering from cancer for the past five months. She was 74 years old.

Alma C. Feigum was born on Nov 21 1899 in New Prairie Township, to the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Feigum. At the age of 8 years she moved with her parents to Barsness Township where she lived until her marriage to Martin Rovig on Dec. 5 1918 at Glenwood MN. After their marriage they farmed in New Prairie Township until 12 years ago when they retired and moved to Starbuck. She was a member of Fron Lutheran Church, it's ALCW & Elizabet circle # 12. She was also a member o the Starbuck V.F.W. Auxiliary

She is survived by her husband, Martin; two sons, Normal of Montevideo & Milton of Starbuck; five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Doris) Norlien and Mrs. Lester Hohn, both of Farwell; Mrs. Raymond (Donna) Beiswanger of Jamestown, N.D., Mrs. Leander (Adeline) Berg and Mrs. Harlan (Phillis) Medalen, both of Starbuck. Also surviving are two brothers, Elmer Feigum of Minneapolis, and Robert Feigum of Glenwood, one half brother Marvin Feigum of Glenwood; one sister, Mrs. Herman (Selma) Overstad of Glenwood; 31 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister
