Mass of Christian Burial for Al Schneider, 95 of Watkins, will be held at at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins. Al passed away at the Hilltop Care Center in Watkins on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery, Watkins.

Al was born on December 4, 1919 at Pearl Lake, Minnesota to Henry and Susan (Garding) Schneider. He married Olga Potthoff on October 30, 1941 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Augusta. They farmed at Watkins for many years.

Al is survived by his wife, Olga of Watkins; children and their spouses, Dennis (Karen) Schneider of Watkins, William (Kaye) Schneider of Rochester, Audrey (David) Oster of Watkins, Michael (Vicki) Schneider of Paynesville, Donnie (Victoria) Schneider, Tom Schneider, James (Karen) Schneider, Susan Schneider, Luanne Loken, all of Watkins, Mary Lee (Brad) Benson of Eden Prairie, Jean Schneider of Plymouth, Douglas (Audrey) Schneider of St. Michael; 29 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren; sisters, Rose Loesch and Martha Schneider, both of Watkins; sister-in-law, Edna Kraus of Blaine.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Theresa Schneider, son-in-law, Bruce Loken; grandson, Kevin Schneider; great grandson, Beckett Klinnert; brothers and sisters, Mark Schneider, Walter Schneider, Clara Erpelding and Alma Schneider.
