About Andrej Iglar

<p>The marriage record indicates that Andrej Iglar was from Fridman #22 and Elizabetha Kava was from Fridman #123. Andrej Iglar and Elizabetha Kava were married on the same day as Andrejs brother, Jan Iglar. St. Stanisław parish marriage record of Joannes Iglar and Maria Dvorniczky, photographed by researcher, Vladimir Flak.</p><p><p>According to the 1869 Hungarian Census, Andrej Iglar / Jendrek Iglar, b. 1838; his wife, Elizabetha Kava / Hala Kava, b. 1848; and their son, Jan Iglar / Jass Iglar, b. 1864; lived in Fridman #22. Andrej Iglar's widowed mother, Elizabetha Brinczka (Hala Iglar), and his sister, Maria Iglar, also lived in Fridman #22. Jendrek Iglar household, Fridman #22, "Vagyonosszeiras, 1869," (Hungarian Census, 1869), FHL microfilm 2162284.</p><p><p>Also living in Fridman #22 were: Jan Iglar Halin / Jass Iglar Halin, b. 1842; and his wife, Maria Dvorniczky, b. 1840; and the other sons of Elizabetha Brinczka / Hala Iglar: Nikolaj Halin, b. 1849; and Mihal Halin, b. 1855. The word, "Halin," appears after the names of Nikolaj Iglar and MihalIglar, indicating they are sons of "Hala," who is Elizabetha Brinczka. Id.</p><p><p>Andrej Iglar and his mother, Elizabetha Brinczka (Hala Iglar), are identified in the records as farmers. Theother members of the household are identified as farmer's helpers. Andrej Iglar or his mother owned two horses (one light mare and one light gelding), one Hungarian cow, one calf less than three years old and one pig. Andrej Iglars name appears on the bottom of the page of livestock, but the tally of animals is set forth on the line corresponding to his mother, Elizabetha Brinczka (Hala Iglar). The house in which they lived, Fridman #22, had a ground floor, a sleeping room and a pantry. The census records also identify each member of the household as having been born in Fridman and as being Roman Catholic. Id.</p><p><p>Andrej Iglar's cause of death is listed as hydrops. He died on 16 November 1885 in Fridman #22 and was buried on 18 November 1885 in the Fridman Cemetery.
