Andrew S. Pazur, 89, of McKeesport, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011. He was born Sept. 4, 1922, in McKeesport, and was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Chemsak) Pazur. He was the husband of the late Charlotte (Cobes) Pazur. He retired from USS National Tube as an electrical maintenance foreman and was a decorated Army veteran serving in World War II and obtaining the rank of technical sergeant. He was a member of the National AARP, White Oak American Legion Post No. 701, a life member of the West Mifflin Elks No. 11, the Slovenian Society Sokol Lodge No. 87, the St. Joseph Polish Benevolent Society in Westmoreland City, a lifetime member and usher at St. Nicholas Byzantine Church and he was a founding member of the American Legion Post No. 1 in Paris, France, during World War ll. He was predeceased by siblings, Ann Karnes, Margaret Wasko, Helen Peters, Michael and John.
