She would've been born in The Holy Roman Empire, when Napoleon dismissed it in the early 1800's, everything reverted back to the Kingdoms, the Kingdom of Hannover arose until the mid 1860's when Prussia conquered it about 10yrs after my family left. It was a time of great upheaval in Germania. You had the Federation of the Rhine, The Kingdom of Bavaria and Prussia, which was a growing opposition power to the Federation. Prussia is the heart of The German Empire, which led to the World Wars. The Kingdom of Bavaria was independant until WWI, when it joined the empire.
