About Annabelle Louise Mary Louise Hampshire
She moved to Winslow and Graduated from Winslow High School, and in 1945 was the last "Harvey Girl" hired. She later worked as a Telephone operator. She married Rex P. Shumway in 1954. She made up for the loss of her own mother by being a loving and caring mother to not only her own children, but also to many others. She was known as a Mother to All. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served faithfully, holding every calling from Relief Society President to Primary Teacher. She loved the Blazer Scouts. She and Rex served a mission for the Church in the Mesa Arizona Temple. They moved to Mesa in 1991. She loved people, dancing, making doll clothes, country music, family, crocheting, friends, puzzles, the temple, house plants, pets, quilting, the USA, games, canning, chicken foot, giving service, reading, baking cookies making the delicious "Hot Waffles" for which was famous, zany jokes, trains, her children, and Rex.
