About Arlene Lenore Deschesne
Bangor, ME. and St. James City, FL. - Arlene Lenore (Kinney) Deschesne, 82, passed from the world January 18, 2020, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born April 11, 1937, in Brookton, Maine, the daughter of Max O. and Dora A. (Tupper) Kinney. Arlene graduated from Lee Academy, Class of 1955. She loved going to her cottage on Hopkins Pond and going to Pine Island, FL, in the winter. In addition to her parents, Arlene was predeceased by two brothers, Max and Melvin Kinney; and two sisters, Lola Gould and Annette Sibley. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Maurice A. Deschesne; she also leaves two sons, Maurice A. Deschesne II and partner, Karen Saucier Deschaine, Mark Deschesne and wife, Leslie; three grandchildren, Matthew Deschesne and fiancé, Erin Kenyon, Jade Deschesne, Jasmine Burne and husband, Elias; a sister, Charlotte Hagerty; a brother, Paul Kinney; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at Westgate Manor for their excellent care of Arlene over the years. A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Ohio Street, Bangor, at a date and time to be announced in the spring.
