About August Sanda
See Media and Timeline tabs for additional source information.
Obituary mentions surviving siblings Vincent Sanda and Mary Adams; see Media tab.
Arrived in the United States in January, 1911 (under the name August Sanden) on the passenger ship Blücher, which sailed from Hamburg to New York. His sponsoring relative was Adam S Komich, referred to as a brother-in-law. However, marriage records indicate that August and Adam's wife had different parents, so it's assumed that August and Adam's wife were cousins.
