Barbara Ann Nelson, age 76, of Marceline, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.

Barbara was born at Murray, Utah on February 3, 1937 to Charles and Edna (Bateman) Cockayne.

She married Frank Bernard Nelson on August 31, 1959 and he survives her.

Barbara was a homemaker and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her husband Frank Nelson of the home in Marceline; six sons, Randy, Richard, Russell, and Rhett Nelson all of Utah; Robert Nelson, Marceline; and Ryan Nelson, Nevada; two daughters, Stacy Hoskins, Texas; and Heather Alires, Utah; brother Jim Cockayne, Montana; two sisters, Judy Peterson, Utah; and Lynn Rosbach, Colorado; twenty-seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Don Cockayne, and granddaughter Kaycee Nelson.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, May 13, 2013 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline.

Burial will be held May 18, 2013 at Valley View Cemetery in West Valley, Utah.
