KARSTAD - The death of Bertram C Karstad, age 20 years of Calgary, formerly of No 9 Murphy Crescetn, Saskatoon occurred accidentally in Calgary on July 19th, 1973. The funeral servie will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 2 pm from Zion Evangeical Lutheran Curch, 323 4th Ave S, conducted by Rev L Likness, McKague's Funeral Home will be in charge.
Surviving are: his parents, Mr and Mrs Carlyle Karstad of Saskatoon; two sisters, Mrs Paul (Bernice) Ogryzlo of Winnipeg and Miss Beatrice Karstad of Estevan one brother, Bernard Karstad of Saskatoon.
Mr Karstad was predeceased by his mother Mary in 1969. He was born in Esterhazy, SK, resided in Atwater, SK until age 4 and moved with his parents to SK in 1957. Mr Karstad attended Albert and Holliston Public school and Watler Murray High school. He was employed in Calgary at the time of his passing. The family would appreciate donations to a charity of choice rather than floral tributes. Internment will be made in the family plot in the Atwater Cemetery.
