Bonnie L. Sanders, age 63, passed away on Sunday February 12, 2012 at Providence Sacred Heart in Spokane, WA after a battle with cancer.
She was born July 8, 1948 in Wenatchee, WA. She was a member of the Moses Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She met Billie Sanders in Moses Lake in 1967. They were later married June 3rd, 1968. They lived in Moses Lake for one year, then moved to Othello for 4 years, moved back to Moses Lake where she resided till her death.
Bonnie enjoyed collecting Santas, playing PC games, crocheting afgans for the rest home residences, and collecting salt dips. She also enjoyed golfing and working in her yard and garden. She loved raising tomatoes.
Bonnie graduated from Waterville High School in 1966, after marrying Billie, she decided to pursue her career and went back to college and graduated in 1985 from Big Bend Community College with highest honors.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Billie Sanders, at home; son Christopher Sanders (Melissa), Longmont, CO; grandchildren: Miguel, Chris Jr., Kelsey, Jeremiah; Sisters: Kathy Schimke and husband Art, Moses Lake; Terri Pichcuskie and husband David, Stanfield, OR; brothers: Donald White and wife Sandra, Moses Lake; Robert White, Iola, KS and John White, wife Denise, Moses Lake, WA, and 14 nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Monday, February 20th at 2pm at the Moses Lake Seventh Day Adventist, 1601 W. Valley Rd., Moses Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. http://www.columbiabasinherald.com/community/obituaries/article_b31...
