Burns Lorenzo Schoffstall

Burns Lorenzo Schoffstoll, 90, well known Madison township farmer died Sunday at his home near Elbow.

Mr. Schoffstoll was born May 22, 1851 in Clark County and had farmed near Elbow since 1904.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Alice and seven children, Harry of Olney; Mrs. Lola Weston of Antler, N.D.; Fred of Olney; Roy of Portland, Ore.; Robert of Tiskilwa and Mrs. Rachel Blackford of Fort Collins, Colo. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Porter-Schaub Funeral Home where services were held Wednesday afternoon. Burial was at Ebenezer Cemetery.
