Akron Beacon Journal (OH) - August 29, 2004 Deceased Name: Burvell O. Garrard Burvell O. Garrard, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 26, 2004.

He was born Oct. 21, 1916, in Loretta, Tenn. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace in 1982, and had attended Manchester Church of Christ.

Burvell was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Edith. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Sue Garrard of Doylestown, Ohio, and Dale and Sandra Garrard of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren, Christie, Jeffrey, Scott, Heather, Charles, Karen, and Chad; great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Zachery, Patrick, Allissa, Jessica, Jordon, Alex, Sarah, Summer, Matthew, Nicole, Thaddeus, Thomas, Tara, Courtney, Kyle, Casey, Ashley, and Lacey.
