Euald Carl Warkentin
Private family service for Euald Carl Warkentin of Lake Oswego was Friday at Willamette National Cemetery. Mr. Warkentin died Wednesday in a local hospital at the age of 77.
The World W II Navy veteran was born in Gotebo, Okla. He attended Oklahoma State College and the University of Michigan. He was a sanitary engineer director for the U.S. Public Health Department from 1952 to 1971.
Mr. Warkentin is survived by his wife, Susan; three sons, Carl Warkentin of Vancouver, Wash., John Warkentin of Lake Oswego and David Warkentin of Sherwood; a daughter, Mary Benjamin of Lake Oswego; two brothers, Ralph Warkentin of Yukon, Okla., and Lowell Warkentin of Enid, Okla., a sister Vera Regier of Halstead, Kan.; and three grandchildren
