A Yorkshire Hunting Wedding. — Captain Christopher Digby Leyland and his bride, Mrs. Enid Turner, daughter of the late Colonel and Mrs. R. Clayton-Swan, after their wedding at the Savoy Chapel, London. They will reside at Wetherby Grange and will take hunting with the Bramham Moor.

The marriage took place on Monday afternoon, 1 December 1930 at the Savoy Chapel, Savoy Hill, Westminster, London WC2R 0DA 51.5105, -0.1199 of Captain Christopher Digby Leyland, late the 1st Life Guards, Wetherby Grange, Yorkshire, eldest son of the late Mr C. J. Leyland, of Haggerston Castle 55.687, -1.935, Northumberland, and of Mrs Leyland, and Mrs Enid Turner, second daughter of the late Colonel and Mrs R. Clayton-Swan. The Rev. G. P. Young officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Lieutenant-Colonel R. G. S. Gordon, wore a gown of ruby-red panne velvet, cut with a long fluted skirt, falling from points at the hips, and deep V neckline, fastened with a diamond clip brooch. Her short rounded coat, also of ruby-red velvet, had long sleeves with deep cuffs of smoke-grey fox fur, with a collar to match, and a deep border of fur at the hem, and she wore a close-fitting hat of red velvet, forming a bow at one side and held at the other with a diamond Married in London. mauve carnations. There were no attendants, and Mr Thomas Naylor was best man.

After the ceremony a reception was held at 53, Great Cumberland Place, lent by Mrs Hague-Cook, aunt of the bride, and later in the day the bride and bridegroom left for a short honeymoon, which they are spending In England.

Captain and Mrs. Christopher Leyland, who were recently married at the Savoy Chapel, have gone into residence at Wetherby Grange, the Yorkshire seat of Sir Ronald Gunter, from whom Captain Leyland has rented it. Captain Leyland, formerly of the Life Guards, is the eldest son of the late Mr. C. J. Leyland, of Haggerston Castle, Northumberland, and Mrs. Leyland, and his bride, formerly Mrs. Enid Turner, is the second daughter of the late Colonel and Mrs. R. Clayton Swan.
