Carol J. Yoder

YODER – Carol J. (Tedrow), 86, of Hollsopple, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born May 6, 1938 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Harry and Louise (Klindworth) Tedrow. Also preceded in death by sister, Martha (Tedrow) Buncich, infant brother, Warren Tedrow, half siblings, James Wildman (wife Mary), Anna Marie (Tedrow) Salus and stepmother Mary Ellen (Oaks) Tedrow. Survived by her loving family, husband of 68 years, Robert J. Yoder; son, Robert R. and wife Noreen (Coyle) Yoder and daughter, Joyce (Yoder) married to John Rendemonti. She was proud grandmother to Emily Yoder, Joseph Rendemonti (wife Samantha), Louis Rendemonti, Noah Yoder (fiancé Allison) and Abraham Yoder (wife Olivia) and great-grandmother to Mariella Rendemonti, Michael Rendemonti, James Rendemonti and Sophia Rendemonti. Also survived by half siblings, Janis (Tedrow) Natoli, Harry Tedrow and David Tedrow and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Carol graduated from Conemaugh Township High School in 1956 and from Somerset Practical Nursing School in 1971. She dedicated 42 years taking care of her patients at Somerset Hospital and Conemaugh Memorial Hospital and received training from Stanford University to be a Master Trainer, teaching others about healthy living. She was a long time, active member at St. David’s Lutheran Church, Davidsville. Over the years she spent time downhill skiing, square dancing with the All American Swingers and Trac II Dance Club. She also loved crocheting, tole painting, tending to her many flower gardens and cooking for her loving family. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Viewing also from 9AM until time of service 10AM Friday at St. David’s Lutheran Church, Davidsville with Pastor Mark Fischer and Pastor Wes Yoder presiding. Interment Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
