Reno was on the initial tax roll for Trimble Co. when it was formed in 1836. Trimble Co. death records say that he died at age 76 of dropsey on Sept. 19, 1857. His will, dated Sept. 13, 1857, in Trimble Co. lists wife Lucy, and children, Thomas, William, Washington, Silas, Elizabeth Stark, Marenian Hunter, Lucy Calvert, Martha Hunter, and Charlotte Calvert.
