About Charles Chinn Reno

He was mentioned in his father's will in February 1837. He was admitted to Silas Run Baptist Church in Bourbon County, Kentucky, by baptism on August 13, 1811. He was a planter originally from Hardin County, Kentucky; then Bourbon County, Kentucky. 
     The 1830 Fayette County, Kentucky, census lists Charles Reno, 1 male under 5, 1 male 10 to 15, 1 male 15 to 20, 1 male 40 to 50, 2 females under 5, 1 female 5 to 10, 12 females 10 to 15, 1 female 20 to 30, and 1 female 40 to 50. 
     The 1850 Trimble County, Kentucky, census lists Charles Reno, 70 b. VA; Lucy, 62 b. KY; and Charlotte, 16 b. KY. 
     [Steve Fancy research] Charles Runnoe is listed in the 1810 census for Bourbon County, KY with 2 boys under 10, 1 man 26-44, 2 girls under 10, and 1 woman 16-25. Charles C. Reno was on the initial tax roll for Trimble Co. when it was formed in 1836. Trimble Co. death records say that he died at age 76 of dropsey on Sept. 19, 1857. His will, dated Sept. 13, 1857, in Trimble Co. lists wife Lucy, and children, Thomas, William, Washington, Silas, Elizabeth Stark, Marenian Hunter, Lucy Calvert, Martha Hunter, and Charlotte Calvert.
