m. Mrs. Chloe Vershoyle-Greene, elder daughter of L.K. Versshoyle-Campbell, of Tassagart, Saggart, Co. Dublin Lineage. [NOTE: Chloe Vershoyle-Greene doesn't appear to be the wife of that John Alexander]

It's more likely that Capt. John Alexander, Jr, living on the lands of James Cunningham was NOT the son of John of Eredy, an Englishman, as Capt. John would have been a tenant farmer and so probably a son of John of Ayrshire, Scotland, and brother to William.
