The death took place at the Christchurch Hospital last week of Mr Clement Richard Armstrong, brother of Mr Walter Armstrong (Greytown), Ralph R. Armstrong (Carterton), and the late Mr Philip Armstrong (Carterton). The late Mr Clement Armstrong served his time at Mills’ iron foundry as an engineer in the mercantile shipping. He was born at Lambton Quay, Wellington, in 1846, and was 83 years of age at the time of his death.
