son of Conrad Beaver and Mary Kneisley.
Married Anna Braumbaugh Strickler, 5th of March, 1799. Page 55 Woodstock, Va., Marriage Record. David was the first Beaver immigrant into Licking Co. coming here in 1805. Feb. 22, 1806, he purchased 1000 acres of land (Fairfield Co. Deed Book E, p. 274).
David was an adherent of the Primitive Baptist faith. In 1805 Rev. Benjamin Green began preaching at David Beaver's house and other houses in the neighborhood. Aug. 22, 1807, the Licking Primitive Baptist Church was organized at David Beaver's house. (Taken from "History and Genealogy of the Biever, Beaver, Biever, Beeber Family" by Rev. Irvin M. Beaver pgs. 528-532).
11 children were born to this union: Susan, David Walter jr, John Joseph, Anna, Lydia, Samuel, Mary, Barbara Ann, Henry, Nancy and Phebe.
Lydia died as a toddler and is buried by her father.
