Dawid Hai was born in Sambor, Poland in 1912. He was a civil servant and married to Perla nee Shponder. Prior to WWII he lived in Sambor, Poland. During the war he was in Sambor, Poland.

Dawid was murdered in the Shoah (according to this source).
