About Dionysius I of Syracuse
Dionysius I, of Syracuse (c.432-367 BC)
Dionysius I or Dionysius the Elder (c.432-367 BC) was a Greek tyrant of Syracuse, in Sicily. He conquered several cities in Sicily and southern Italy, opposed Carthage's influence in Sicily and made Syracuse the most powerful of the Western Greek colonies. He was regarded by the ancients as an example of the worst kind of despot-cruel, suspicious and vindictive. [ 1 ]
Founder of ancient Greek colony of Issa (today island and town Vis in Croatia)

Note:
Assumption
- Dionysius's relationship with Kali is not exactly known, it is possible that Kali may have been his son or cousin (?). But this has not been recorded by the World history, historians and historical literature, because there is no possible vital and physical evidence (proofs) and written traces from this historical time period. The only current fact goes in favor, of the fact that Kali (Kalij, Kalija) was from the same Greek tribe as Dionysius, and based on this possible a direction to find the exact their relationship, if any, existed between them.
- Based at the facts that Dionysius was participated in the battle [*], which was happened 384 BCE at Adriatic sea, in the canal between of island of Hvar (lat. Pharus, Pharos, anc. gr. Φάρος) and island of Vis (lat. Issa, ancient gr. Ἴσσα); Dionysius and Kali somehow they were connected as relatives or relatives of their families (?).
[*] 384 BCE, The event of the 1st naval battle, recorded at croatian part of Adriatic sea.
