Paulette Holloway Bivens - age 72 of Lenoir City, passed away April 12, 2021. Paulette was a loving wife, a caring mother and grandmother, and the best sister ever. She was a faithful servant and active member at Martel United Methodist Church where she was church treasurer and sang in the choir. Paulette retired after working many years at the ORNL X-10 Plant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Doris Holloway; brother, Sam Holloway; infant sister, Sandra Carole Holloway; granddaughter, Samantha Jo Matson and stepdaughter, Cheryl Mincey. Survived by her husband of 53 years, James Bivens; sons: Jimmy Bivens (Vanessa), David Bivens (Becky) and Jeffrey Bivens (Christy); grandchildren: Patricia, Jared, Brandi, Matthew, Alex, Elijah, Lindsey, Chad, Claire, Madi, Matthew, Michael, Reed, and Cody; great-grandchildren: Cecilia, Serin, Emilia, Anthony, Vivien, Preston, Connor, and Olivia; sisters, Susan Robinett and Debra Jane Holloway; brother, Steve Holloway (Debbie); 2 aunts along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 15th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dewey Smith officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m. on Friday and proceed to the Lakeview Cemetery for 1 p.m. graveside services.
