(NOTE: From Ken Roberts, Find-A-Grave member #47855234 The part-time genealogist from NSSAR suggested that Deborah could NOT have been daughter of John Dane and Deborah Ivers Bailey as was originally posted on Find a Grave and indicated that probable parents were Ebenezer Daines and Margaret Beard BUT after several years of research ( and thousands of dollars of professional research) NO record of Ebenezer and Margaret having a daughter named Deborah have been discovered. However, Vital records of Andover, Essex, MA does show John Dane and Deborah Bailey having daughter named Deborah born 24 Jun 1874. No record of any Deborah Dane born in 1791 in Pennsylvania has been found. Deborah, wife of Adam Shaner is listed on various census reports and on death records as having been born in Pennsylvania - if she was NOT daughter of John Dane and Deborah Bailey - WHO were her parents ??)
