Biography ==When Edward Barker was born in 1670 in Branford, Connecticut, his father, Edward, was 45 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 24. He married Mary Papillon in 1700. They had four children during their marriage. Duringthe time he lived in Branford, Connecticut, Edward was the town clerk. Edward died on November 10, 1727, in New Haven, Connecticut, at theage of 57, and was buried in his hometown.
