About Edwin Moore
Edwin Moore, inventor of the Moore push pin and pushless hangers, and president of the Moore Push Pin Company, who was known throughout the United States and in many of the foreign countries as the mean who "built a big business on a little thing," died March 16, at his home, 2225 West Venango street. He was stricken ill with the girppe, February 9, and after making a brave fight to regain health, finally succumbed to heart trouble, which was brought on by the grippe. All of his friends in and out of the trade, as well as all of those who have been associated with him for a number of years in business and in social work, will realize what a great loss his passing away is to the community at large and especially to those who have learned to know and love him in the closer associations of business and of social life.
