About Edwin R. Quick
Edwin R. Quick, 80, of York died Sunday April 20, 1986 at Lincon. He was born June 25, 1905, in York to Afred and Rose (Romsdal) Quick. He was married Aug. 21, 1929 at McCool Junction to Ruth Estella Stone.
Mr. Quick was a retired farmer and a member of First Presbyterian Church and the York County Historical Society.
He is survived by his wife, Estella of York; two sons, Gordon of Tacoma,, Wash., and Randy of Benedict; six grandchildren; Five great-grandchildren and a brother, Robert of Omaha.
He was preceded in death by his parents, One daughter, a brother and two sisters.
His funeral will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Frist Presbyterian Church at York. The Rev, Ivan Rymes will officiate. Burial will be in York Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials are directed to the American Diabetes Association or the Services to the Blind.
