Ray at Baltimore, Maryland.

Sudden Death of Mrs. Ross Ray
Mrs. A. Ross Ray died last night from a shock of apoplexy. She was in attendance at the evening service at St. John’s Church, when her head was noticed to suddenly drop back on the pew rail. Friends attracted by the peculiar situation at once went to her aid and found she was insensible. Dr. Magruder, who was passing, was called in and pronounced it a stroke of apoplexy. She was removed to her residence and died during the night. Her funeral will take place from St. John’s Church on Friday, the 11th instant, at 10:30AM.
