Elizabeth A. Martin was born March 26, 1830 in Nevils, Bulloch County, Georgia, daughter of John M. Martin and Mary (Rimes) Martin.

On Feb 17, 1853, Elizabeth Martin married Henry Laseter in Bulloch County. They had 4 children all born in Bulloch County, including James (1854), Mary (circa 1857), Ada A. V. (1866) and Lavenia (circa 1868) Laseter.

On May 18, 1905, Elizabeth A (Martin) Laseter passed away in Bulloch County. Burial was in the Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Bulloch County, Georgia.
