Ellsworth A. Ulland 86 of Austin Minnesota passed away Thursday October 9, 2014 at Our House Senior Living, Austin.

He was born August 23, 1928 in Austin, Minnesota to Alvin and Evelyn (Swenson) Ulland. Ellsworth grew up in Austin graduating from high school in 1946. He then attended Austin Junior College, graduating in 1948. On June 19, 1949 he married Eileen Jolson at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church. The couple raised seven children. He made his living as a farmer and also worked at Owatonna Tool, retiring in 1993. In 1996 after living on the farm for 37 years, Ellsworth and Eileen moved to Austin. Eileen passed away in June 2004. Ellsworth moved to Heather Haus in 2011.

Survivors include 7 children, 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren , one brother, 2 sisters, 2 sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eileen, granddaughter Amy Mueller-Wilde, brother and sister-in-law LaVerne(Irene) Ulland, sister Cleone Goodwin, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Gerald Sievers, John Cummings, Muriel Westerman, Ernest Johnson, and John Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday October 13, 2014 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, with Pastor Paul Lutter officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8PM on Sunday, October 12 at Worlein Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Red Oak Grove Cemetery.
