About Florian Cox Gex
Florian Cox Gex was mortally injured on May 8, 1920, when riding his horse. The horse stumbled in a coyote hole, the girth broke, horse did a somersault landing on Florian with the saddle horn between them. His liver was crushed and the intestines ruptured in five places.
Florian was nicknamed "Primrose" as a baby because of a photograph showing him sitting in or in front of a bed of primrose. As he grew older his nickname devolved to "Prim" which he was called the rest of his life.,
