Floyd Lainhart

Lainhart, Floyd Our precious dad and grandfather, Floyd Lainhart, went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 18, 2008, at the age of 91.He was born in Jackson County February 12, 1917, to the late Hirm and Sarah Blanton Lainhart. He was a retired farmer and of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Mafrey Willis Lainhart; and one son, Eugene Lainhart.Survivors include: three daughters, Ruth Murphy and husband Bobby, Susan Dunn and husband, Oscar, Jr., both of Richmond, and Dora Phillips; one son, Fred Lainhart and wife, Carol, of Union City. He is also survived by: 14 grandchildren, Jeffrey Lainhart, Doug Lainhart, Steve Lainhart, Bobbie Ann Cochran, Donna Schmitt, Susan Mounts, Sherri Baker, Lana Nealy, Cindi Wiseman, Jonathan Lainhart, Karen Franklin, Kim Carson, Jenny Park and Birch Dunn; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Crockett officiating. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Oldham, Roberts and Powell.Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Lainhart, Doug Lainhart, Steve Lainhart, Jonathan Lainhart, Birch Dunn and Shane Pingleton. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobbie Ann Cochran, Donna Schmitt, Susan Mounts, Sherri Baker, Lana Nealy, Cindi Wiseman, Karen Franklin, Kim Carson and Jenny Park
