Wife of Aaron Onspaugh (1835-1891). Aaron and Fannie had at least five children together including: Elizabeth, Mattie, Adam, Minnie and Viola Onspaugh. Fannie was the daughter of Jonas Shartle and Margaret Mary (Brown) Shartle.
Obituary from The Evening Republican, Meadville, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, February 27, 1900, page 3:
DEATH OF MRS. FANNIE ONSPAUGH. Mrs. Fannie Onspaugh, widow of Aaron Onspaugh, died at 10 a. m. Monday at her home on the Harmonsburg road, about four miles west of this city. The deceased was 68 years of age and was a consistent member of the Watson Run Reformed church. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Hershelman, residing in Western Crawford, and Mrs. Henry Snearline, who, with her husband, resides at the old homestead. The funeral will take place at the residence residence at 2 o'clock p. m. Wednesday."
