About Frank B Conner

Frank Conner was a farmer and also raised chickens, as well as a large family. He and Pearl moved from Reno County out to Richfield, KS in western Kansas before Kenneth was born. They lived in a dug out for awhile. He drove a freight wagon north to Syracuse and hauled freight back from the railroad there. It was a long drive and took several days to make the round trip. After Kenneth was born, before Pearletta arrived, they moved back to Reno County and lived around Sylvia and Arlington. They didn't own a farm, but rented land in several places where he did farming. In later years they lived on a farm near Arlington. The old place was sold when they moved to Hutchinson and afterwards a tornado came through there so the house is no longer there.
