FRANK HANKE
Funeral services for Frank Hanke, 70, painter and paperhanger at Stockbridge area for 50 years who passed away early Thursday were held from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Stockbridge with the Rev. Theodore Kersten as officiant. Burial was in the church cemetery.
He had been ill several months. The past three weeks were spent in St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Appleton. Born in Jericho, May 4, 1885, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hanke Sr.
He is survived by four brothers, Raymond, R. 3, Chilton, Carl, Charlesburg, John, Compton, California and Anton of Port Washington and three sisters, Mrs. Steve Goesers, R. 3, Chilton, Mrs. Richard Preissner, Sherwood and Mrs. Catherine Thill, Milwaukee. Sheboygan Press – December 21, 1955
