- "She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Mamie Sue Phillips Veals; two brothers Grayson Veals who died at birth and Garlen Veals.
- "She is survived by three sons Leslie (Tammy) Jones, Keith (Sherry) Jones both of Decatur and Jaimey Jones of Cleveland, Tn; one daughter Tenna Jones of Cleveland, Tn; one sister Glenis (Roger) Roberts of Decatur; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
- "Funeral services will be conducted Friday August 23 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 till 7pm at the funeral home Friday. Burial will be Sunday August 25 at Sunrise cemetery in Englewood, Tn.
