About Gustaf Alfred Hammerlund

He died at age 14. Karen's dad Allan Edward said he had been working in the field with his brother Alfred (as he was called) one day when Alfred suddenly passed out. He never walked again. After lying in bed for a couple of months, he died. The medical knowledge at that time was insufficient to determine what his medical condition was, but the wife of one of my cousins is a nurse and she speculated, based on what happened, that he had a brain aneurism or something like that.
