About Hannah Sexton
- Reference: FamilySearch Genealogy - SmartCopy: Sep 14 2020, 1:30:27 UTC
Hannah Kinnan Sexton was to be the first burial in the Ebenezer Methodist Churchyard Cemetery. Her dates are given to us as 1783/1815, first wife of Joseph Sexton. [Source: pg 97, of Mary Remler's Hamilton Co OH Burial Rec, Vol 10, Green Twp; this list was compiled by Nellie R Jacobs Rankin, a member of Wilke Memorial Church (a later name of Ebenezer Meth Epis Ch).] Many years ago finding an entry for a Richard Kinnan Sexton seemed to point to the names in this line.
Oct 2017 Update: Thanks to findagraver, Patti (#46796127), who kindly wrote:"Siblings: Hannah Kinnan Sexton, Elizabeth Kinnan and Deborah Kinnan Cox are sisters. Children of Richard and Mehitable Taylor Kinnan of Monmouth County, NJ."* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Sep 14 2020, 1:42:10 UTC
