Harry E. Ruff, 93, formerly of Southwest Greensburg, died Sunday afternoon. Born June 19, 1869 in Madison, he was the son of the late Anthony and Sarah Ann Clendenan Ruff, His wife, Mrs. Ida M. Ruff, died Feb. 16, 1962. He was a retired employe [sic] of the National Biscuit Company and also worked for the J. C. Penney Company in Greensburg.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Mildred A. Andrews of Jeannette, Mrs. Alverda M. Brown of Ashtabula, Ohio; Elroy R. of Wilkinsburg, Russell E. of Lancaster and Harold E. of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one brother, Clifford A. of New Stanton.
Friends will be received at the Paul R. Seeman Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Albert L. Schartner officiating. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery.
