About Henry Alonzo Hershberger
Hershberger, Henry, son of Daniel and Lucy (Miller) Hershberger, was born in Howard County, Ind., July 19, 1879; died at his home near Fairview, Mich., Jan. 29, 1958; aged 78 y. 8 m. 10 d. He was married to Myrtle Stillwell on July 5, 1902. They moved to Oscoda County in 1903. Surviving are his wife, 3 children (Edmund, Detroit, Mich.; Lunette-Mrs. Roman Troyer and Clifford, both of Fairview, Mich.), one brother (Earl, Davison, Mich.), one sister (Susie Stutesman, Fairview, Mich.), 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church and was always present at services as long as health permitted. Funeral services were held at the Fairview Church, Jan. 31, in charge of Harvey Handrich and Floyd Yoder. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
