Henry Longe, III, of Whaddon

"Henry Longe, esq. of Whaddon, who married Mary, daughter of Robert May, esq. of Broughton Gifford, and dying in 1611, was succeeded by his eldest son, Henry Longe, esq. of Whaddon..."

Their children were Henry, Robert (of Monkton), William (of Trowbridge), Thomas, Margaret (m. Thomas Chafyn of Sarum) Amy (m. Roger Martyn), Mary (m. Thomas Lovibond), and a daughter who married William Allen.[1]

Henry's Will of 1611 [2] mentions his sons Henry, Robert, William and Thomas; 5 daughters unnamed (but among them are 4 surnamed Allen, Lovibond, Martin, Chafyn); brother [in-law] Yarbery; and some grandchildren.
