1930 Census: Owned a grocery store. A story about the grocery store as told to his grandson: some Nazi sympathizers broke all the windows, looted the store, and threatened him and his family, so he closed the store. I am not sure which year exactly, but it was probably around 1936 or later.
1940 Census: Living at 206-01 Jamaica Ave, Queens. Working as a salesman, sold wholesale baking products.
Enlisted in Army 15 Aug 1943. Acting Pay Clerk.
