- In 1770 we Find him named as one of members of the German Baptist group at Conewago,
- established in 1741 (Dr. M.G. Brumbaugh, History of Church)
- Pennsylvania Archives 3rd series, Vol. XXI, page 118, Hermon SR. is named in the tax records of Reading Twp. He died in 1796. His will was probated May 24, 1796. Letters were granted to his eldest son Peter Brugh & John Stauffer.
- CAME TO AMERICA ON SHIP LYDIA, LANDING PHILADELPHIA 16 SEP 1736.
- BIRTH: FROM HEADSTONE IN FINCASTLE.
