Hettie Lear

Birth: 23 AUG 1902 in Bucks Co, PA Death: 11 OCT 1981 in PA - buried Deep Run (East) Menn Cem, Bucks Co Note: Obit - Gospel Herald: Lear.- Hettie, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Leatherman) Miller, was bo rn at Dublin, Pa., Aug. 23, 1902; died at Yingst Nursing Home on Oct. 1 1, 1981; aged 79 y. On Oct. 8, 1924, she was married to Clarence S. Lea r, who died in 1972. Surviving are 4 sons (John M., Herbert M., Clarence M ., and Walter M.) 4 daughters (Mrs. Olive M. Davis, Mrs. Emma K. Diehl, Mr s. Gladys Neppes, and Mrs. Doris A. Long), one foster son (Garwood M. ), 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mrs. Aquil la Alderver). She was a member of Deep Run East Mennonite Church, where fu neral services were held on Oct. 14, in charge of John Ehst; interme nt in adjoining cemetery.
